The Massachusetts Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program helps families. Our program connects with families to make sure that diagnosis and intervention are not delayed. Our program goals are for babies to have a diagnostic appointment 3 weeks after they leave the hospital and if hearing loss is found then for Early Intervention to begin as soon as possible. Our program also helps families connect with other families with children with hearing loss through support activities and education/social events.
